Narrative:
After the completion of the before-taxi checklist, I advised the captain that he would have to make a hard left turn to clear the aircraft on the right side. The captain advised me not to hesitate if we were less than 3 ft spacing to hit the brakes. Our aircraft began moving in a slow full left turn when the wing walker on the right side put her thumb up, a non standard but typical indication of all clear. It looked like the turn would indeed take us close so I advised the captain and had him slow down. I then held my arms (spread wide) up against the right window to ask the wing walker for a full clearance sign. She then put up both arms and the forward marshaller indicated for us to proceed so we slowly moved another ft or so. Then I saw her wave an arm to the marshaller. I called stop and we hit the brakes. The ground personnel were unclr at this point so the captain called on the radio to get a ramp supervisor to assist. When the supervisor arrived he told us to shut down. We then realized we were just brushing under the wingtip of another aircraft. There were no damages or injuries at all and the flts were resumed after a quick inspection by the mechanic.

Title: AN ATR42 INCURRED SLIGHT R WINGTIP DAMAGE WHILE TAXIING WITH GND GUIDEMEN AT FORWARD NOSE AND R WING AREA.
Narrative: AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE BEFORE-TAXI CHKLIST, I ADVISED THE CAPT THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO MAKE A HARD L TURN TO CLR THE ACFT ON THE R SIDE. THE CAPT ADVISED ME NOT TO HESITATE IF WE WERE LESS THAN 3 FT SPACING TO HIT THE BRAKES. OUR ACFT BEGAN MOVING IN A SLOW FULL L TURN WHEN THE WING WALKER ON THE R SIDE PUT HER THUMB UP, A NON STANDARD BUT TYPICAL INDICATION OF ALL CLR. IT LOOKED LIKE THE TURN WOULD INDEED TAKE US CLOSE SO I ADVISED THE CAPT AND HAD HIM SLOW DOWN. I THEN HELD MY ARMS (SPREAD WIDE) UP AGAINST THE R WINDOW TO ASK THE WING WALKER FOR A FULL CLRNC SIGN. THE GND PERSONNEL WERE UNCLR AT THIS POINT SO THE CAPT CALLED ON THE RADIO TO GET A RAMP SUPVR TO ASSIST. WHEN THE SUPVR ARRIVED HE TOLD US TO SHUT DOWN. WE THEN REALIZED WE WERE JUST BRUSHING UNDER THE WINGTIP OF ANOTHER ACFT. THERE WERE NO DAMAGES OR INJURIES AT ALL AND THE FLTS WERE RESUMED AFTER A QUICK INSPECTION BY THE MECH.
