Narrative:

We crossed snake at 3700 ft which is 400 ft above the published crossing altitude. All other crossing restrs on the eastside arrival are at or above but snake restr is a hard altitude. After reading the arrival apparently I was set up into thinking all crossing restrs were at or above. May I suggest that all xings be at a firm attitude so this mistake will not be made again. Also, the controller said we were slightly west of localizer. Our map showed us on or very close to the localizer during the approach.
