Narrative:
The SID verbiage is to fly heading 030 degrees for vectors to the clearance fix. It also specifies an altitude restr at the 6 DME. I had inadvertently flown a course to linden (in the clearance) after passing the 6 DME radial, instead of maintaining the 030 degrees heading. This occurred due to fatigue. Although I had a full night's rest prior to this flight, I had flown nights (red eyes) the previous 3 nights and was physically and mentally fatigued, unable to rest well due to the complete change in sleep cycles, body clock, etc. The specific SID was the sfo 6. Even after the controller questioned our heading, I had difficulty in mentally comprehending the verbiage on the SID. Solutions: create regulation preventing switching nights to days, perhaps a more gradual change would be practical. In this instance, I slept during the day of our arrival after flying 8 hours all night, and then was unable to get meaningful sleep that evening.

Title: B757 ON SFO 6 SID FAILED TO MAINTAIN 030 DEG HDG AFTER PASSING 6 DME ARC. DEP CTLR QUERIED THE HDG WHICH WAS NOW DIRECT LIN. CAPT HAD FLOWN 3 ALL NIGHTERS AND WAS EXHAUSTED.
Narrative: THE SID VERBIAGE IS TO FLY HDG 030 DEGS FOR VECTORS TO THE CLRNC FIX. IT ALSO SPECIFIES AN ALT RESTR AT THE 6 DME. I HAD INADVERTENTLY FLOWN A COURSE TO LINDEN (IN THE CLRNC) AFTER PASSING THE 6 DME RADIAL, INSTEAD OF MAINTAINING THE 030 DEGS HDG. THIS OCCURRED DUE TO FATIGUE. ALTHOUGH I HAD A FULL NIGHT'S REST PRIOR TO THIS FLT, I HAD FLOWN NIGHTS (RED EYES) THE PREVIOUS 3 NIGHTS AND WAS PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY FATIGUED, UNABLE TO REST WELL DUE TO THE COMPLETE CHANGE IN SLEEP CYCLES, BODY CLOCK, ETC. THE SPECIFIC SID WAS THE SFO 6. EVEN AFTER THE CTLR QUESTIONED OUR HDG, I HAD DIFFICULTY IN MENTALLY COMPREHENDING THE VERBIAGE ON THE SID. SOLUTIONS: CREATE REG PREVENTING SWITCHING NIGHTS TO DAYS, PERHAPS A MORE GRADUAL CHANGE WOULD BE PRACTICAL. IN THIS INSTANCE, I SLEPT DURING THE DAY OF OUR ARR AFTER FLYING 8 HRS ALL NIGHT, AND THEN WAS UNABLE TO GET MEANINGFUL SLEEP THAT EVENING.
