Narrative:
Landed, tower said do a 180 degree turn and taxi back. At the time I assumed I was cleared to taxi to tie-down, which is near where I exited runway. I should have doublechked when I cleared the runway. There was no other radio communication. No other aircraft were moving or on txwys. I was distraction by noise and talking by passenger. It was an error on my part, I should have checked with ground.
