Narrative:
I was flying a flight from lax - jfk and not to my knowledge was 25000 pounds over aircraft weight as per flight plan. A check of fuel status along the flight showed less and less fuel than the flight plan called for. A call to dispatch confirmed our notion of an overweight condition. We landed with minimum fuel of 4500 pounds.
