Narrative:
I, as an aircraft dispatcher, was cleared to dispatch far 121 flts and dispatched over 500 flts without completing the required cockpit familiarization (5 hours). I thought I had 90 days to complete it. My boss thought I had already completed it prior to being signed off to dispatch any flts. I have since completed the jump seat required by far 121.

Narrative: I, AS AN ACFT DISPATCHER, WAS CLRED TO DISPATCH FAR 121 FLTS AND DISPATCHED OVER 500 FLTS WITHOUT COMPLETING THE REQUIRED COCKPIT FAMILIARIZATION (5 HRS). I THOUGHT I HAD 90 DAYS TO COMPLETE IT. MY BOSS THOUGHT I HAD ALREADY COMPLETED IT PRIOR TO BEING SIGNED OFF TO DISPATCH ANY FLTS. I HAVE SINCE COMPLETED THE JUMP SEAT REQUIRED BY FAR 121.
