Narrative:

On apr/xx/97, I was informed by my supervisor that aircraft xyz had been routed to investigate fuel pressure/flow problems. The supervisor informed me that debris from structural repair work had been found in the boost pump screens. The supervisor told me that I had been 1 of 3 inspectors who had given the ok to close the fuel tanks on the aircraft during the c- check. At the time I inspected the tank panels that I ok'd to close, I observed no debris of any kind. It is also unknown to me if the tanks were reopened at a later date as the result of leakage being found as a result of a leak check that was performed after the aircraft was refueled. Note: the aircraft was routed into maintenance prior to apr/xx/97. That was the date of my being informed of the problem.
