Narrative:

After departing msy, nose gear failed to retract. Reported problem with ATC and received altitude and radar vector clrncs from departure control. Remained in local msy traffic pattern and contacted company. After reviewing checklist and collaborating with company, we were directed to execute an overweight landing at msy. Flight continued to gate uneventfully.

Narrative: AFTER DEPARTING MSY, NOSE GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT. RPTED PROB WITH ATC AND RECEIVED ALT AND RADAR VECTOR CLRNCS FROM DEP CTL. REMAINED IN LCL MSY TFC PATTERN AND CONTACTED COMPANY. AFTER REVIEWING CHKLIST AND COLLABORATING WITH COMPANY, WE WERE DIRECTED TO EXECUTE AN OVERWT LNDG AT MSY. FLT CONTINUED TO GATE UNEVENTFULLY.
