Narrative:
We were #1 for takeoff in dtw when we received an ATC rerte due to WX. They did not give us a full readback of ATC clearance. We departed vectored for SID. After intercept, we questioned part of clearance. They seemed upset and gave us phone number. ARTCC was not happy that tower had given incorrect clearance to us. We did not violate anybody else's airspace, and were still on flight plan route which was same as rerte up to that point.

Title: B727 FLC WERE GIVEN CLRNC REVISION PRIOR TO TKOF DUE TO DEST WX. ENRTE ATC QUESTIONED THE ROUTING.
Narrative: WE WERE #1 FOR TKOF IN DTW WHEN WE RECEIVED AN ATC RERTE DUE TO WX. THEY DID NOT GIVE US A FULL READBACK OF ATC CLRNC. WE DEPARTED VECTORED FOR SID. AFTER INTERCEPT, WE QUESTIONED PART OF CLRNC. THEY SEEMED UPSET AND GAVE US PHONE NUMBER. ARTCC WAS NOT HAPPY THAT TWR HAD GIVEN INCORRECT CLRNC TO US. WE DID NOT VIOLATE ANYBODY ELSE'S AIRSPACE, AND WERE STILL ON FLT PLAN RTE WHICH WAS SAME AS RERTE UP TO THAT POINT.
