Narrative:
A gear pin was left in the right main landing gear. This was missed by the first officer on his preflight. The strap of pin was blown up in the gear and was not visible. This was discovered when the gear would not come up after takeoff. Landed back at the airport with everything working normal.

Title: LTT HAD TO RETURN LAND LAX WHEN THE R MAIN GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT BECAUSE A GEAR PIN WAS OVERLOOKED DURING PREFLT. RIBBON ATTACHED TO GEAR PIN HAD BLOWN UP INTO THE WHEEL WELL.
Narrative: A GEAR PIN WAS LEFT IN THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR. THIS WAS MISSED BY THE FO ON HIS PREFLT. THE STRAP OF PIN WAS BLOWN UP IN THE GEAR AND WAS NOT VISIBLE. THIS WAS DISCOVERED WHEN THE GEAR WOULD NOT COME UP AFTER TKOF. LANDED BACK AT THE ARPT WITH EVERYTHING WORKING NORMAL.
