Narrative:

I was flying and climbing to FL410. In the climb I saw that I should turn slightly to the right to follow my FMS bars for course but I did not want to sacrifice my climb speed for the turn. By the time I got to FL410 ZOB informed me that I was slightly off my course to the destination lnj I had been cleared direct to. I corrected course direct to lnj.
