Narrative:
In sum: air carrier jetstream 3201 was being vectored for a visual approach and was level at 4500 ft. An MD80 was 2000 ft below them. Getting very high above the GS and trying to sight the MD80, the nose was lowered and the aircraft descended to 4200 ft before excursion was noted and corrected.

Narrative: IN SUM: ACR JETSTREAM 3201 WAS BEING VECTORED FOR A VISUAL APCH AND WAS LEVEL AT 4500 FT. AN MD80 WAS 2000 FT BELOW THEM. GETTING VERY HIGH ABOVE THE GS AND TRYING TO SIGHT THE MD80, THE NOSE WAS LOWERED AND THE ACFT DSNDED TO 4200 FT BEFORE EXCURSION WAS NOTED AND CORRECTED.
