Narrative:
Following another aircraft in climb through scattered clouds, was engulfed by clouds. Turned away from other aircraft and climbed clear of clouds. Other aircraft did not enter clouds. I continued flight to clear area and descended.

Title: SMA PVT PLT FOLLOWED ANOTHER ACFT AND FLIES INTO A CLOUD DECK. HE EXITS CLOUDS IN A CLB ASAP. NON RATED IFR.
Narrative: FOLLOWING ANOTHER ACFT IN CLB THROUGH SCATTERED CLOUDS, WAS ENGULFED BY CLOUDS. TURNED AWAY FROM OTHER ACFT AND CLBED CLR OF CLOUDS. OTHER ACFT DID NOT ENTER CLOUDS. I CONTINUED FLT TO CLR AREA AND DSNDED.
