Narrative:

ATC cleared our flight for takeoff. After rotation, noted an emergency of some sort between runways 17C and our runway 17R. Upon arrival at iah told to contact ATC supervisor at dfw. Told us there was no problem, but ATC issued us an abort clearance 3 times. Of course we never heard anything. There was some mumbled conversation upon reflection during takeoff which sounded like a stuck microphone or a blocked transmission. There was nothing to the effect of increasing voice inflection which you would expect to go along that type of clearance especially the third time. ATC supervisor said there was no conflict, just touching base more or less as food for thought.
