Narrative:
After takeoff from sdl airport, az, I had inverter failure and gear door failure almost at same time. Aircraft was just out of shop at sdl for inverter trouble. When inverter failed, flight director failed, and with gear door trouble, I did not notice a failure of flight director immediately. I had already asked for and was given tower permission to cross deer valley airspace and with failed flight director, I was in phx airspace. When I saw I was in phx airspace, I immediately departed and called luke approach. Aircraft is at sdl airport for gear door repair and inverter repair. I did everything I was supposed to do as per flight manual with the gear door hammering under left wing. It was a short time before I noticed the false reading on my flight director. With the small distance between sdl and phx, I had entered class B airspace.
