Narrative:

On approach the green landing gear light failed to come on. A pass over the airport confirmed, by ground person, nose gear was not extended. All attempts to lower nose gear failed. Procedures to lower gear included use of emergency gear extension system, g-loading, and bouncing the mains. The decision was made to land with gear retracted. All emergency procedures were followed and landing was uneventful with no injuries and damage to the plane was kept to a minimum.

Title: PLT INSTRUCTOR OF A C172RG, LANDED GEAR UP WHEN ALL ATTEMPTS TO LOWER THE NOSE GEAR FAILED. THE ACFT RECEIVED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

Narrative: ON APCH THE GREEN LNDG GEAR LIGHT FAILED TO COME ON. A PASS OVER THE ARPT CONFIRMED, BY GND PERSON, NOSE GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED. ALL ATTEMPTS TO LOWER NOSE GEAR FAILED. PROCS TO LOWER GEAR INCLUDED USE OF EMER GEAR EXTENSION SYS, G-LOADING, AND BOUNCING THE MAINS. THE DECISION WAS MADE TO LAND WITH GEAR RETRACTED. ALL EMER PROCS WERE FOLLOWED AND LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL WITH NO INJURIES AND DAMAGE TO THE PLANE WAS KEPT TO A MINIMUM.
