Narrative:
Sea approach asked if we wanted a visual approach. We declined as boeing field is in a valley and was not in sight. Immediately approach began calling out 3 traffic contacts in quick succession and then turned us to a dogleg to intercept the localizer. The first officer saw the second and third aircraft and overbanked sharply to avoid a near miss incident. There is something wrong when a heavy jet has to play 'dodge 'em' on final. The system worked. However, 3 contacts, assumed VFR, inside of 2-3 NM all at once is crew (2-MAN) overload. We saw only 2 of the 3 and they were both small and poorly lit. In a field that relies on redundancy for safety, we saw only a last min advisory from ATC to prevent a near miss or possible collision over north seattle. The gray overcast skies made a visual outside scan alone, problematic at best. TCASII not required for all cargo aircraft, but it should be. VFR traffic should be strongly reminded to avoid approach corridors to airports and advised that they are, like motorcycles, very difficult to see by heavy jets.

Title: FLC OF A B767 TOOK EVASIVE ACTION BY TURNING TO AVOID 2 FLOAT PLANES TRANSITING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FROM THE APCH JUST OUTSIDE THE OM. THE B767 WAS NOT EQUIPPED WITH TCASII SINCE IT WAS A CARGO ACFT.
Narrative: SEA APCH ASKED IF WE WANTED A VISUAL APCH. WE DECLINED AS BOEING FIELD IS IN A VALLEY AND WAS NOT IN SIGHT.
