Cleared to 13000 ft. Read back clearance to ATC. Climbed to and leveled at 13000 ft. About 1 min after level, ATC gave clearance down to 10000 ft. We inquired why the clearance back to 10000 ft. ATC responded 'no problem, we need you back at 10000 ft.' we complied.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG WERE CLRED BACK TO THE ALT THAT THEY HAD JUST BEEN CLRED FROM DURING CLBOUT DUE TO AN APPARENT ATC INTERCOORD PROB. RPTR WAS ADVISED BY ATC THAT HE WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF ANY PROB.
