Narrative:
I was the radar associate for 2 sectors taking care of coords that were necessary when I heard the radar controller turn air carrier X and ask air carrier Y if he was deviating. When I looked at the radar the conflict alert was flashing. Supplemental information from acn 373090: misjudgement of route on climbing aircraft.

Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR MISJUDGED THE RTE ON A CLBING DC9 AND HAD LTSS WITH A B737 AT FL310. CONFLICT ALERT WAS ACTIVATED AS THE RADAR CTLR TURNED THE B737. ASSOCIATE CTLR WAS COORDINATED WITH OTHER SECTORS AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
