Narrative:

Taking off out of pit on runway 28R just after V1, the master warning light flashed momentarily. Once airborne on our departure leg at approximately 300 ft AGL the master warning light came on followed by a ccas engine oil light and a fluctuating oil pressure indication on engine #1. The indications persisted for approximately 3 seconds and then went back to normal. We decided to come back for a landing at pit. We did so by entering a visual pattern to runway 28R. After we landed we got maintenance to check the #1 engine. Maintenance found the oil level to be 5 quarts low. After oil was added and maintenance checked the #1 engine, we were re-released back to ewr without any further problems.
