Narrative:
In cruise at FL230, just east of giber intersection, started smelling electrical fumes and then noticed smoke billowing from under the glareshield. Goggles and oxygen masks were donned, generator relays selected off. Emergency power selected on. Declared an emergency with ATC. Shortly after generators selected off, smoke stopped. Performed electrical smoke/fire procedure on the emergency checklist. Diverted to fnt (nearest suitable airport). Completed electrical smoke/fire communication procedure. Performed loss of all generators procedure on the emergency checklist and completed communication procedure. Briefed the approach and inoperative equipment list. Briefed lead flight attendant and passenger. Approach and landing were uneventful with emergency equipment standing by. No evacuate/evacuation required. Passenger deplaned normally at jetway. Released fire equipment at gate after brake and cockpit smoke area inspection. Postflt inspection found galley drain mast heater control (N-38) circuit breaker out. Did not reset it.

APCH AND LNDG WERE UNEVENTFUL WITH EMER EQUIP STANDING BY. NO EVAC REQUIRED. PAX DEPLANED NORMALLY AT JETWAY. RELEASED FIRE EQUIP AT GATE AFTER BRAKE AND COCKPIT SMOKE AREA INSPECTION. POSTFLT INSPECTION FOUND GALLEY DRAIN MAST HEATER CTL (N-38) CIRCUIT BREAKER OUT. DID NOT RESET IT.
