Narrative:

Departed mia en route to ccs when we noticed system 'a' hydraulic was decreasing. We were east of nassau and deviating for WX when the problem occurred. We accomplished all the checklists for the situation. We ended up losing the 'a' system completely. We ran all the checklists needed, declared an emergency and landed safely in mia with no further incident. We did need to dump 3000 pounds to get to maximum landing weight.
