Narrative:
During the time the event occurred there were new controllers being trained with 2 controllers on frequency at the time. There were 6 aircraft in the pattern at the time also. On the first landing, the tower cleared the aircraft behind us for the option before we were cleared to land. Upon hearing this, I called the tower and asked if I was clear to land. The tower then told me I was clear to land. On the second landing, which is when the incident occurred, there were 2 aircraft in front of me and the tower told me I was #4 to land. When the aircraft behind me called in, the tower then corrected and told them they were #4 to land. After the 2 aircraft in front of me, I went ahead and landed. Afterwards, I realized that the tower never actually cleared me to land. I believe a lack of situational awareness on my part and confusion in the tower both contributed to the incident. In the future, I intend to remain focused even with multiple controllers on frequency and always verify that I am cleared to land.

Title: INSTRUCTOR WITH STUDENT PLT PRACTICING TKOF AND LNDGS HAS CONFUSING CLRNCS FROM LCL CTLR UNDERGOING TRAINING OPS. STUDENT PLT TOLD #4 TO LAND THEN CORRECTED TO #3 BUT MAY NOT HAVE RECEIVED ACTUAL LNDG CLRNC.
Narrative: DURING THE TIME THE EVENT OCCURRED THERE WERE NEW CTLRS BEING TRAINED WITH 2 CTLRS ON FREQ AT THE TIME. THERE WERE 6 ACFT IN THE PATTERN AT THE TIME ALSO. ON THE FIRST LNDG, THE TWR CLRED THE ACFT BEHIND US FOR THE OPTION BEFORE WE WERE CLRED TO LAND. UPON HEARING THIS, I CALLED THE TWR AND ASKED IF I WAS CLR TO LAND. THE TWR THEN TOLD ME I WAS CLR TO LAND. ON THE SECOND LNDG, WHICH IS WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED, THERE WERE 2 ACFT IN FRONT OF ME AND THE TWR TOLD ME I WAS #4 TO LAND. WHEN THE ACFT BEHIND ME CALLED IN, THE TWR THEN CORRECTED AND TOLD THEM THEY WERE #4 TO LAND. AFTER THE 2 ACFT IN FRONT OF ME, I WENT AHEAD AND LANDED. AFTERWARDS, I REALIZED THAT THE TWR NEVER ACTUALLY CLRED ME TO LAND. I BELIEVE A LACK OF SITUATIONAL AWARENESS ON MY PART AND CONFUSION IN THE TWR BOTH CONTRIBUTED TO THE INCIDENT. IN THE FUTURE, I INTEND TO REMAIN FOCUSED EVEN WITH MULTIPLE CTLRS ON FREQ AND ALWAYS VERIFY THAT I AM CLRED TO LAND.
