Narrative:
Flight was cleared G431 to bexer and G885 to aruba at FL350 and 125 mi from aba we requested a lower altitude and were told to standby. At 85 mi from aba we requested descent again and were cleared to descend to 12000 ft and on the 052 degree radial. At XX21Z and about 54 DME from aba we received a TA at our 2 O'clock position and 600 ft below. Then it changed to an RA and we flew the correction until we received the all clear. ATC was advised. It appeared that the traffic was an air carrier en route to cur.
