Narrative:
Departed eppley to the south and took a heading toward north omaha airport area. We did a couple of 360 degree turns over the airport and decided to do a touch-and-go, then proceed to fremont for lunch, and then back to eppley. We were all set up for the landing at north omaha, gear down, fuel and propeller set, speeds good. Omaha approach control called out traffic, a B737 at 4000 ft over the airport. We acknowledged looking for the traffic, landed a little long and attempted to abort the takeoff. Skidded off the end of runway 17. Called the FAA, reported accident, took pictures and obtained permission to move aircraft to hangar. 2 passenger aboard -- everyone ok -- no injuries.

Title: PLT OF AN SMA SEL LOST CTL OF ACFT AND SKIDDED OFF THE END OF THE RWY, DURING A TOUCH-AND-GO LNDG WHEN ATTEMPTING TO ABORT THE TKOF, CAUSED BY A LONG LNDG LEAVING INSUFFICIENT RWY LENGTH FOR TKOF. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND THE ACFT WAS CLASSIFIED AS RECEIVING ONLY MINOR DAMAGE.
