Narrative:

Flying eastside arrival, given kayoh at 7000 ft, 190 degrees. Frequency change to 121.3. They asked if we wanted visual, we said yes and 250 degree heading was given initially. Then heading 310 degrees with descent from 5000 ft to 4000 ft. Controller called popup traffic, altitude unknown, at 12 O'clock. Then he said I have an altitude on the traffic, level off immediately. We did, saw the traffic and turned right to evade. Controller wanted a turn left, but in our judgement, right was better. When clear, we turned back to the left and asked for a heading. No response for 3 calls. Controller finally came up and said that he had been coordination with another sector we had flown into during our turn. We filed this due to evasive action required and necessity for controller to coordination with another sector.

Narrative: FLYING EASTSIDE ARR, GIVEN KAYOH AT 7000 FT, 190 DEGS. FREQ CHANGE TO 121.3. THEY ASKED IF WE WANTED VISUAL, WE SAID YES AND 250 DEG HDG WAS GIVEN INITIALLY. THEN HDG 310 DEGS WITH DSCNT FROM 5000 FT TO 4000 FT. CTLR CALLED POPUP TFC, ALT UNKNOWN, AT 12 O'CLOCK. THEN HE SAID I HAVE AN ALT ON THE TFC, LEVEL OFF IMMEDIATELY. WE DID, SAW THE TFC AND TURNED R TO EVADE. CTLR WANTED A TURN L, BUT IN OUR JUDGEMENT, R WAS BETTER. WHEN CLR, WE TURNED BACK TO THE L AND ASKED FOR A HDG. NO RESPONSE FOR 3 CALLS. CTLR FINALLY CAME UP AND SAID THAT HE HAD BEEN COORD WITH ANOTHER SECTOR WE HAD FLOWN INTO DURING OUR TURN. WE FILED THIS DUE TO EVASIVE ACTION REQUIRED AND NECESSITY FOR CTLR TO COORD WITH ANOTHER SECTOR.
