Narrative:
On the second run of a developmental braking test the right main wheel locked and the tire blew. Pilot brought aircraft to a stop on the runway and closed the runway until the aircraft could be stowed and the runway swept. Tower personnel must always be prepared for a runway closure when experimental tests are conducted.
