Narrative:
Captain flying approach to runway 25L. First officer running checklist. Remember getting advisories from approach at about 4 mi. After turning off runway, first officer discovered we were still on approach frequency. Couldn't be sure if we had officially received landing clearance. Talked to tower controller on landline and he stated that there was no problem.
