Narrative:
It was brought to my attention that flight on sep/xa/97 departed dfw en route to cmh with both thrust reversers inoperative. Maintenance called prior to departure to get approval for the right thrust reverser which I approved after reviewing the open items via phone. I did not approve the left thrust reverser in conjunction with the right.

Title: A DISPATCHER RPTS THAT HE ISSUED A DISPATCH RELEASE FOR A FLT WITH AN ACFT THAT HAD BOTH THRUST REVERSERS INOP. HE, APPARENTLY, DID NOT KNOW THAT THE L THRUST REVERSER WAS ALREADY INOP.
