Narrative:
Touchdown 150 ft short of landing zone on the 1790 ft extension, takeoff area at kai-tac airport hong kong: igs runway 13 checkerboard approach, turning into the morning sun and haze. At the end of an 11 hour 50 min flight from ymml to wsss to vhhh. It's a visual approach after tuning right at the checkerboard, 675 ft, 2.2 DME. I had been up about 20 hours at this point. APU didn't work at singapore so it was hot, sticky and wet on the 2 hour turn in singapore. The company had jerked me out of the hotel in lax the day before with a 2 hour notice to catch the airlines to ymml to cover the trip they had (forgot) they had uncovered for a week. I spent 19 hours traveling down there the day before. Those would be the contributing factors to an otherwise nice approach and landing with the sun in my face. The power was pushed up about 100 ft AGL but still touched down short of green light.

Narrative: TOUCHDOWN 150 FT SHORT OF LNDG ZONE ON THE 1790 FT EXTENSION, TKOF AREA AT KAI-TAC ARPT HONG KONG: IGS RWY 13 CHECKERBOARD APCH, TURNING INTO THE MORNING SUN AND HAZE. AT THE END OF AN 11 HR 50 MIN FLT FROM YMML TO WSSS TO VHHH. IT'S A VISUAL APCH AFTER TUNING R AT THE CHECKERBOARD, 675 FT, 2.2 DME. I HAD BEEN UP ABOUT 20 HRS AT THIS POINT. APU DIDN'T WORK AT SINGAPORE SO IT WAS HOT, STICKY AND WET ON THE 2 HR TURN IN SINGAPORE. THE COMPANY HAD JERKED ME OUT OF THE HOTEL IN LAX THE DAY BEFORE WITH A 2 HR NOTICE TO CATCH THE AIRLINES TO YMML TO COVER THE TRIP THEY HAD (FORGOT) THEY HAD UNCOVERED FOR A WK. I SPENT 19 HRS TRAVELING DOWN THERE THE DAY BEFORE. THOSE WOULD BE THE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS TO AN OTHERWISE NICE APCH AND LNDG WITH THE SUN IN MY FACE. THE PWR WAS PUSHED UP ABOUT 100 FT AGL BUT STILL TOUCHED DOWN SHORT OF GREEN LIGHT.
