Narrative:
A passenger became ill on our flight into lhr. We called dispatch about 1 hour 30 mins before landing, requesting an ambulance and paramedics to meet our flight. When in range of lhr operations, we also checked on the status of the ambulance. All indications were that the paramedics and ambulance would meet our flight. When we arrived at the gate, there was no ambulance or paramedics for about 5 mins. Lhr operations told us that there are no emergency services like that on the airport. An off-airport service was called and they misjudged our arrival. It is hard for me to believe that there is no service like that on the airport.
