Narrative:
VFR flight into catalina for lunch, on downwind gear was lowered and 3 green called out. Normal stabilized approach and landing was made. Weight was on the mains and the nosewheel touched down. At this time my thoughts were 'this runway sure is rough.' I was very anxious to get off the runway or at least slow the aircraft down. Immediately after thinking this, the nose gear retracted and the aircraft skidded down the runway. I was quite shocked. Even with the gear up we still had 3 green. I also checked the lights on short final. ('Mpg check' mixture, propellers, 3 green.) I was happy to have a passenger who is an ATP 6000+ hours who could verify our story, but still I was quite upset. I just don't want my record ruined. Does this go on my record? The FAA did not see the aircraft, but because it is on a part 135 they were notified. They also have my certificate number and last name. The nose gear linkage had a sheared bolt.
