Narrative:
I was following the STAR to dca and approach control xferred me to the tower, who in turn cleared me to land on a visual approach to runway 15. With all of the haze, I was unable to see the airport, so the tower and approach vectored me west and brought me back in to the published visual approach to runway 18. I was vectored in until I could see the airport, and we landed. However, it turned out that I clipped some restr airspace (P56) on the way in to runway 18. I was following directions from the tower and approach, so I did not believe I did anything wrong. After I was on the ground and was going over what happened, I did notice the restr airspace on my approach plate. I was more focused at the time in following ATC's instructions and finding the airport in the haze. The tower called my hotel room and let me know that I was all clear. The secret service came by my hotel room as well to do a backgnd check.
