Narrative:
While working east radar, the alpha numerics on my display began pulsing brighter then back to normal on an inconsistent basis. The scope was logged out and we changed to another scope. Same scope has had many similar problems lately, old unreliable equipment.

Title: TRACON CTLR'S SCOPE HAD A NUMERIC DISPLAY PROB. CTLR CHANGED TO ANOTHER SCOPE AND STATES THE EQUIP IS OLD AND UNRELIABLE.
Narrative: WHILE WORKING E RADAR, THE ALPHA NUMERICS ON MY DISPLAY BEGAN PULSING BRIGHTER THEN BACK TO NORMAL ON AN INCONSISTENT BASIS. THE SCOPE WAS LOGGED OUT AND WE CHANGED TO ANOTHER SCOPE. SAME SCOPE HAS HAD MANY SIMILAR PROBS LATELY, OLD UNRELIABLE EQUIP.
