Narrative:
Caution light on fuel clog. Aom states to continue flight or series of flts and monitor engine parameters. Contacted dispatch and maintenance control over aircraft radio. We continued to tulsa. Operations in tulsa informed me to call maintenance control. Telephone conference with dispatch and maintenance control. I was advised to continue series of flts to return aircraft to maintenance base. I read aom, flight manual and system manual. Also examined MEL manual. I asked maintenance control about the logbook and was told, 'continue flight to return aircraft to maintenance base for repair as per aom. Enter write-up in dfw.' I send dispatch an ACARS message to confirm. Received reply that no maintenance action was required. Good to go. We were dispatched back to dfw. Write up was made in dfw.
