Narrative:
Received a TCASII RA at 10000 ft and climbed to 10500 ft. At about XX05 EST after departing phl airport we received an ATC advisory for VFR traffic at 1 O'clock position, 9500 ft, about 7 mi. This VFR traffic was visually idented by first officer (PNF). 2 mins later, traffic was visually lost. Shortly thereafter, we received a TCASII RA, with advisory to climb. Captain climbed to 10600 ft. TCASII then reported 'clear of conflict.' phl approach was advised of our climb to company with RA. Traffic was gained visually afterwards and proximity was estimated at 1000 ft vertical, 1/4 mi. Returned to 10000 ft operations normal.
