Narrative:
In cruise at FL410 we had a duct leak light and status message indicating a bleed air leak in our right pneumatic system. We completed the appropriate checklist and all indications went away. After 10-15 mins we put all switches back to normal to see if this was possibly a nuisance light. The flight was normal with no further indications for the remaining time (2 hours 20 mins). After landing, we briefed maintenance of the problem and actions taken. We went into crew rest and found out later that the next flight was canceled due to a leak in the duct. Although we took care of the problem correctly and reported it to maintenance upon arrival, we did not enter the information in the aircraft logbook. Looking back on the situation now, there was no reason not to do this since we briefed maintenance and obviously they were going to check the aircraft.

Title: A B767-200 IN CRUISE AT FL410 HAD A R PNEUMATIC DUCT LEAK LIGHT CAUSED BY A CRACKED PNEUMATIC DUCT.
Narrative: IN CRUISE AT FL410 WE HAD A DUCT LEAK LIGHT AND STATUS MESSAGE INDICATING A BLEED AIR LEAK IN OUR R PNEUMATIC SYS. WE COMPLETED THE APPROPRIATE CHKLIST AND ALL INDICATIONS WENT AWAY. AFTER 10-15 MINS WE PUT ALL SWITCHES BACK TO NORMAL TO SEE IF THIS WAS POSSIBLY A NUISANCE LIGHT. THE FLT WAS NORMAL WITH NO FURTHER INDICATIONS FOR THE REMAINING TIME (2 HRS 20 MINS). AFTER LNDG, WE BRIEFED MAINT OF THE PROB AND ACTIONS TAKEN. WE WENT INTO CREW REST AND FOUND OUT LATER THAT THE NEXT FLT WAS CANCELED DUE TO A LEAK IN THE DUCT. ALTHOUGH WE TOOK CARE OF THE PROB CORRECTLY AND RPTED IT TO MAINT UPON ARR, WE DID NOT ENTER THE INFO IN THE ACFT LOGBOOK. LOOKING BACK ON THE SIT NOW, THERE WAS NO REASON NOT TO DO THIS SINCE WE BRIEFED MAINT AND OBVIOUSLY THEY WERE GOING TO CHK THE ACFT.
