Narrative:
Potential gross navigation error. One of our aircraft advised dispatch that the track message was incorrect. They were advised by gander oceanic that they had filed incorrectly the 20W point. Investigating this revealed that navigation data had received a track amendment message at oct/xa/97 XA39Z that revised the 30W and the 20W points. Dispatch track message was only changed for the 30W point as was the ib east. When rtes were built the ib east was created the overwater portion of flight plan and was thus incorrect. Dispatch did not receive a copy of the track amendment message and therefore, had nothing to xchk routing from original track message. Flight was advised at the 40W position report to confirm their 20W point. It was at this time that ATC intervention was required to avoid a gross navigation error. Several other flts had the same filing on track xray. The other flts were advised and rtes were corrected along with the correct coordinates for track xray.

Title: A DISPATCHER RPTS THAT ONE OF THE COMPANY'S NORTH ATLANTIC FLTS WAS ADVISED THAT IT WAS OFF COURSE BY GANDER OCEANIC. THE FLT'S TRACK HAD BEEN AMENDED AT 2 POINTS, BUT ONLY 1 POINT HAD BEEN XMITTED TO DISPATCH AND THE FLC.
