Narrative:
While parked at gate with passenger/cargo boarded and jetway off aircraft, deicing truck hit left wingtip. Truck continued deicing and left when crew inquired about possible damage. One position light assembly on left wingtip had to be replaced. Deicing personnel never communicated with aircrew before, during, or after incident.

Title: A DC9-30 WHILE PARKED WAS STRUCK BY A DEICING TRUCK INCURRING DAMAGE TO THE L WINGTIP AND NAV LIGHT.
Narrative: WHILE PARKED AT GATE WITH PAX/CARGO BOARDED AND JETWAY OFF ACFT, DEICING TRUCK HIT L WINGTIP. TRUCK CONTINUED DEICING AND LEFT WHEN CREW INQUIRED ABOUT POSSIBLE DAMAGE. ONE POS LIGHT ASSEMBLY ON L WINGTIP HAD TO BE REPLACED. DEICING PERSONNEL NEVER COMMUNICATED WITH AIRCREW BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER INCIDENT.
