Narrative:
Upon approach to gls runway 31 in a 1976 mooney M20K the landing gear collapsed (front). Landing was normal. Aircraft slid 1000 ft and veered left. We hit one runway edge light. We observed a gear down indication in the cockpit before touchdown. Landing gear was svced 4 days earlier for its 100 hour and annual inspection. Might have been a bad part or bad maintenance.
