Narrative:
On takeoff tower reported some fluid leaking from the aircraft. There were no abnormal indications at the time. Once reaching a safe altitude we contacted company dispatch and maintenance. Maintenance had us check all fluid quantities including water, all indicated the same level that they had prior to takeoff. The decision was jointly made to continue to lgb and have a mechanic there inspect the aircraft. The flight progressed normally until about 1500 ft AGL when the landing gear was selected down. Shortly after the gear was down the 'a' system hydraulic quantity went rapidly to zero and both 'a' pump low pressure lights illuminated. The pumps were turned off and the approach was continued to a safe landing. We stopped on the runway and had the aircraft towed to the gate. Postflt inspection revealed a failed high pressure line to the right main gear actuator. Hindsight is always 20/20, but in retrospect a return to the takeoff airport might have been a better choice. Something had to have been leaking from the aircraft even though there were no indications.

Title: AN ACR MLG FLC LOST SOME HYD FLUID ON DEP, BUT WERE UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE SOURCE UNTIL EXTENDING THE LNDG GEAR ON ARR WHEN THE 'A' SYS QUANTITY WENT TO ZERO. THE LNDG WAS SUCCESSFUL.
Narrative: ON TKOF TWR RPTED SOME FLUID LEAKING FROM THE ACFT. THERE WERE NO ABNORMAL INDICATIONS AT THE TIME. ONCE REACHING A SAFE ALT WE CONTACTED COMPANY DISPATCH AND MAINT.
