Narrative:
Aircraft had descended on autoplt to FL280. Leveled off and captured 28000 ft and cruise power reapplied. After about 3 mins, aircraft descended to about 27700 ft when it was discovered and immediately corrected. This occurred during a frequency change. Another reminder to always monitor aircraft even when the autoplt 'has it.'
