Narrative:
While monitoring fuel on board/flight progress, we concluded that the remaining fuel on board at the arrival station would have been at or near the minimum required. Through good CRM, we decided that it would be safer to stop in avl, put on additional fuel, then continue on to our destination. The diversion for additional fuel was purely precautionary.

Title: FK10 ACFT. ENRTE FLC BECAME AWARE OF FUEL STATE BEHIND WHERE IT SHOULD BE DUE TO STRONG HEADWINDS. FLC DECIDED TO DIVERT AND FUEL, WHICH THEY DID.
Narrative: WHILE MONITORING FUEL ON BOARD/FLT PROGRESS, WE CONCLUDED THAT THE REMAINING FUEL ON BOARD AT THE ARR STATION WOULD HAVE BEEN AT OR NEAR THE MINIMUM REQUIRED. THROUGH GOOD CRM, WE DECIDED THAT IT WOULD BE SAFER TO STOP IN AVL, PUT ON ADDITIONAL FUEL, THEN CONTINUE ON TO OUR DEST. THE DIVERSION FOR ADDITIONAL FUEL WAS PURELY PRECAUTIONARY.
