Narrative:
My aircraft was instructed by ground to taxi to runway 3R. As I taxied down taxiway F, I checked traffic for runway 12 and runway 30. I needed to cross runway 12 to taxi to runway 3R and proceeded to cross runway 12. As I proceeded on runway 12, some sixth sense made me look towards the approach end. Touching down approximately 500 ft from my location was the BE76. I made an emergency stop and the duchess swerved right to avoid me. The tower mistakenly cleared me to taxi to runway 3R.
