Narrative:
Landed earlier for fuel. Ready to depart. I requested a progressive for taxi to the active and was instructed to taxi via taxiway a, cross runway 32 and continue to runway 23 and hold short. Upon reaching taxiway a, I turned right and was crossing runway when controller instructed me to turn around and go to the other way (left) and that I had entered the runway. At this time there was no other traffic on the airport taxiing, taking off, or landing so there was no other problem created by this error.
