Narrative:
Flight from dfw to dca. I was off frequency while we were given a descent to 11000 ft. Passing about 12000 ft ATC called and asked if we were given a descent to 15000 ft. The captain said that he was given 11000 ft and that is what he read back. The controller said that he may have missed the readback, but that there were no conflicts and that we were to continue to 11000 ft. There was miscom between the aircraft and controller. I'm not certain where the error occurred.
