Narrative:
On descent to omak, wa, to pick up a car accident victim. Leaving 9000 ft MSL, I noticed the left fuel pressure light on. A glance at the engine instruments showed that the left engine N1 was below normal idle RPM. We turned on the ignitors and electric fuel pump. The engine RPM increased to normal. We picked up the patient and returned to home base. I wrote up the left engine and it is being repaired. The question is whether the aircraft should have been grounded at omak. Opinions seem to be divided on this. Supplemental information from acn 388489: the left engine RPM dropped and left fuel pressure light came on. N1 (left) was below normal at idle. The ignitors and left standby fuel pump were switched on and RPM came back to normal. The captain wrote up the anomaly and maintenance is checking and repairing as necessary. Questions about grounding the airplane came up amongst other pilots, hence this report.

Title: AN LR35 DSNDS INTO OMAK, WA, AS AN AIR TAXI OPERATOR TO PICK UP AN AIR AMBULANCE PAX. DURING THE DSCNT THE #1 ENG FUEL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON, HOWEVER, WITH APPLICATION OF ENG IGNITORS AND TURNING ON ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP, ENG RETURNED TO NORMAL OP.
Narrative: ON DSCNT TO OMAK, WA, TO PICK UP A CAR ACCIDENT VICTIM. LEAVING 9000 FT MSL, I NOTICED THE L FUEL PRESSURE LIGHT ON. A GLANCE AT THE ENG INSTS SHOWED THAT THE L ENG N1 WAS BELOW NORMAL IDLE RPM. WE TURNED ON THE IGNITORS AND ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. THE ENG RPM INCREASED TO NORMAL. WE PICKED UP THE PATIENT AND RETURNED TO HOME BASE. I WROTE UP THE L ENG AND IT IS BEING REPAIRED. THE QUESTION IS WHETHER THE ACFT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GNDED AT OMAK. OPINIONS SEEM TO BE DIVIDED ON THIS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 388489: THE L ENG RPM DROPPED AND L FUEL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON. N1 (L) WAS BELOW NORMAL AT IDLE. THE IGNITORS AND L STANDBY FUEL PUMP WERE SWITCHED ON AND RPM CAME BACK TO NORMAL. THE CAPT WROTE UP THE ANOMALY AND MAINT IS CHKING AND REPAIRING AS NECESSARY. QUESTIONS ABOUT GNDING THE AIRPLANE CAME UP AMONGST OTHER PLTS, HENCE THIS RPT.
