Narrative:

During a 'B' check, while reassembling the main landing gear isolation valve, both were installed 180 degrees from proper position. The valves passed operations check ok. Valves saftied (wired) to 'open' position as per job card. Failed to install valve safety cover. Aircraft dispatched in this manner. Later I discovered I was in error as I left the safety not secured. I notified line maintenance of my error, and they 'flagged' the error to be repaired at next opportunity. Maintenance found at dulles airport 'valve handles installed 180 degrees out.' reinstalled valve handles properly. Operations check normal. At no time, no one or aircraft was in danger.
