Narrative:
At 11000 ft, 250 KTS, level on cqy arrival received TCASII climb resolution alert. We followed alert per procedure. Noted 600 ft separation from B737 below us. We were IMC so it was too close for my comfort zone. Immediately notified approach controller during our climb. We climbed to about 11300 ft. Once event was over I requested to return to 11000 ft, we did, and continued normally. Captain did a great job of flying for his first sequence back on S80.
