Narrative:
ATC facility: ZMA. Location: south of torry, north of hobee, west of AR1. Encountered moderate turbulence which only worsened after descent to FL260. Center cleared us to FL180 where we were in smooth air. We checked part 1 and realized our minimum altitude with minimum overwater route equipment was FL250. We climbed back to FL250.
